Executive Stress Management

It is sometimes difficult for businesses to run in house training programs for key staff whose role does not allow them the time to attend. To meet this need, I provide individual 1/1 coaching. Many companies wish to invest in their staff welfare which has tangible benefits of staff retention, but the individual may not suit a group environment due to;

A/ His or her position within the company

B/ The perceived stigma of being singled out

This is a delicate process that often involves office politics and the individuals reaction may be one of feeling victimised rather than helped. A personal coaching intervention with myself overcomes these difficulties by making the individual feel valued by the company with a personal, confidential approach

What do I do?

It begins with an informal assessment of the needs of the individual ,taking the needs of the orgainisation into account.

This is achieved through a series of carefully designed series of questions in order to fully understand any issues the attendee is experiencing. I then make an initial assessment of the form the coaching will take. Either behavioral based or Therapeutic or both.

I then agree to meet with the individual for one or two hours per session, for a maximum of four sessions. During these sessions I teach the essential theory of stress management and coach the individual in dealing with stress by altering his/her perception of it, and giving them tools and techniques which they can effectively use in the workplace.

In the final session I follow up on what has been learnt and assess if there are any outstanding issues. I undertake a review of the success of the coaching protocol and make any further recommendations
