Each sephiroth (sphere) on the tree of life is ruled over by an Archangel, and angelic force. These are the most commonly known angels with their attributes.
MICHAEL
Is known as the Sun Lord and his name means “Perfect of God”. Sunday is his sacred day and he should be invoked to help in anymatters he rules. He can be invoked for healing any aspects of the heart, the back or shoulders.
GABRIEL
Rules over the moon. He can be petitioned for healing stomach complaints and all aspects of female health.
SAMAEL
Can be petitioned on a Tuesday, he rules over mars and can be used in healing any rashes, or skin complaints.
RAPHAEL
Is petitioned on a Wednesday and he rules overmercury. His healing aspects are many. He is considered THE HEALING ANGEL, and concerned with all aspects of healing and health especially of the lungs and chest.
SACHIEL
Is invoked on Thursdays he rules over Jupiter. He helps with healing the circulation and the ankles and feet.
HANIEL
Is the angel of love and he is invoked upon a Friday.He rules Venus and is associated with all aspects of Love and affection. He isnot used for any healing of bodily ailments only emotional (love) that has been broken.
CASSIEL
Is invoked on a Saturday, he rules over Saturn and isused in the healing of rheumatism and arthritic conditions.
URIEL
This archangel is also invoked on a Saturday, he rulesover the planet URANUS. He is primarily used with all aspects of the nervous system.
ASARIEL
Is not generally used, but when he is invoked he helps heal aspects of insanity and delusions.
As you can see each of the angelic influences rules over a planetary aspect and also has a particular healing role. They are also associated with different colours and days of the week.
They should be looked upon as influences as opposed to actual Angels with wings. Their power lies in their attributes.
